Ini semacam peringatan bagi sang kandidat untuk tidak keluar dari track status quo. Tugas sebagai pelanjut harus tetap tidak boleh lebih unggul dari status quo.
Dan ini membuat situasi tim sebelah terjebak dalam habitus lama. Wajah baru kekuasaan lama. Tidak ada aspek kebaruan yang bisa ditawarkan selain bentuk wajah yang lebih muda dari segi usia.
Ini problem, walaupun wajah baru tetapi tidak menawarkan gagasan. Mereka terjebak dalam konsep berkarat yang berisi:
1. Pendapatan asli daerah yang rendah
2. Penanganan pasca bencana yang tidak beres
3. Jumlah kemiskinan yang tinggi
4. Jumlah stunting yang tinggi
5. Serta infrastruktur yang separuhnya dalam kondisi mengenaskan.
