BERBURU EMAS DI HUTAN LINDUNG
Tambang di gunung desa Sedoa, Kecamatan Lore Utara, Kabupaten Poso, tak cuma mengantar puluhan pekerja menjemput maut di dalam lubang galian, tapi juga membuat lahan di areal hutan lindung jadi rusak. Mereka tetap bertahan !. Meskipun patroli pengamanan di perketat dilokasi itu. Pemerintah sepertinya tak kuasa menghadapi ulah para penambang !.
Beberapa bulan terakhir dusun Dongi dongi, layaknya gadis cantik ditengah kerumunan jejaka. Ratusan para penambang dari berbagai wilayah beradu peruntungan di hutan itu. Para penambang liar berkerja berkelompok, sebanyak 5 sampai dengan 10 orang, di lubang-lubang galian beratapkan terpal dan daun. Sebagian dari mereka, datang dari luar Sulawesi.
Pemimpin wilayah dilokasi pertambangan itu, sepertinya meresetui dan meminta dukungan agar status pertambangan emas di legalkan sehingga mendapatkan royalti dari tambang. “Kalau z pak untuk masalah Peti mas kalau memang bisa pak pemerintah legalkan” kata Kepala Desa Sedoa, Reynold L.P Kabi, kepada Trilogi, satu pekan lalu.
Reynold L.P Kabi, menjelaskan melalui pesan singkat, bahwa perselisihan mengenai royalti yang jadi alasan kuat dari dorongan masayarakat setempat saa itu, sehingga membuat Pemerintah desa menolak adanya aktifitas PETI dikawasan tersebut. Namun belakangan, aktifitas PETI dilahan kawasan konservasi itu justru kembali berulang, bahkan terang-terangan.
“Lalu memang pengeluhan masyarakat Dongi Dongi sama saya, karena tidak adanya pembagian jadi saya bilang tutup saja. Sekarang kan, masyarakat leluasa kerja. Untuk kepentingan orang banyak kalau memang bisa dilegalkan. Seperti sekarang ini kan, anggaran turun untuk jaga lokasi PETI mas Dongi dongi cukup lumayan besar pertahunya tapi masih ada juga kegiatan. Kalau bisa dilegalkan, kan ada juga pemasukan untuk Pemerintah” kata pria diperkirakan bersusia 40-an itu.
Permintaan Kades Reynold L.P Kabi, seakan memberi ruang gelap bagi para pegundal yang datang dilahan konservasi Taman Nasional Lore Lindu. Aktifitas PETI ini tak hanya menyebabkan hilangnya kayu hutan sekunder yang besar-besar, tapi juga mengancam keberagaman hayati dan masyarakat setempat.
Ditanya apakah benar aktivitas tambang emas di Dongi-Dongi masih berjalan, padahal sudah dijaga aparat keamanan ? Reynold menegaskan bahwa aktivitas tambang emas masih beroperasi secara diam-diam atau dilakukan pada malam hari.
“Sampai saat ini iya masih jalan, Tapi kalau untuk penambang yang melapor ke Pemdes tidak ada,” jelasnya.
