Dalam pesan tertulis itu, Eko menjelaskan, untuk pembangunan struktur jembatan Permanen di Desa Pombewe tersebut memiliki panjang bentang 70 meter dengan lebar 6 meter. Dengan menggunakan Girder beton pracetak yang terbagi menjadi 3 bentang yakni bentang pertama 16 meter, bentang tengah 40 meter bentang ke 3 panjang 16 meter.
“Kondisi bangunan itu awalnya hanya berupa jembatan darurat (Bailey-red). Kondisi jembatan 100% kita mulai open traffic pada bulan Maret, kalau tidak salah ingat. Bahkan sempat kita berhadapan dengan vandalism orang-orang tidak bertangung jawab yang membat coretan-coretan” jelasnya.

Sebelum mendapat penanganan pada program bencana oleh Kementrian PUPR, jembatan permanen Pombewe ini, adalah hanya sebuah jembatan darurat yang menjadi akses satu-satunya masyarakat Kabupaten Sigi untuk terhubung dibeberapa Kecamatan sekaligus akses jalan menuju ke Huntap Pombewe.
Berdasarkan catatan redaksi Trilogi sepanjang penanganan pada proyek RR-02 itu, Direktur Jenderal (DITJEN) Bina Marga Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) melalui Balai Pelaksana Jalan Nasional (BPJN) Sulawesi Tengah, melaksanakan pekerjaan rehabilitasi dan rekontruksi jalan Palupi – Simoro, Kalukubula – Kalawara, Biromaru – Palolo & akses Huntap yang digarap oleh PT Wasco – Sarana KSO.
Hal ini untuk meningkatkan kemantapan ruas jalan non nasional serta mengembalikan kualitas layanan jalan yang rusak akibat bencana alam pada 28 September 2018 silam, sehingga pemerintah diperlukan penanganan mendesak, melalui program Rehab Rekon RR-02 yang tertuang dalam Nomor : 02-52/02-WINRIP-RR/RB/A/8043/11-19, ketika itu.
