Pemerintah Kabupaten Sigi, Sulawesi Tengah dalam kurun waktu sepekan ini sedang memperbaiki badan jalan yang tertimbun longsor di daerah itu.
Beberapa alat berat dikerahkan untuk membersihkan badan jalan yang tertimbun tanah longsor di jalur Omu – Salua -Sadaunta. Sudah beberapa hari ini, setiap hari ada perbaikan dan kini kendaraan roda empat sudah bisa lewat lagi.

Pekan lalu, badan jalan hanya bisa dilewati kendaraan sepeda motor. Jalan antara Desa Omu menuju Sadaunta rawan tanah longsor karena di sisi kiri dan kanan jalan adalah tebing yang struktur tanahnya labil. Saat hujan lebat, dipastikan badan jalan pada beberapa titik rawan longsor selalu tertimbun material longsor.
Kepala Bidang Jalan & Jembatan dinas Pekerjaan Umum & Perumahan (PUPR) Kabupaten Sigi, Eddy mengatakan jika sejumlah alat berat telah dikerahkan untuk membuka akses jalan yang tertimbun tanah longsor itu.

Pekerjaan penggusuran material tanah longsor, kata Eddy, dari badan jalan antara Desa Salua sampai Sadaunta itu baru mulai dilakukan Jumat pekan kemarin. Badan jalan yang tertimbun akibat tanah longsor sudah berhasil dibersihkan oleh tim darurat dinas PU & Perumahan Sigi.
“Pemda Sigi tangani beberapa ruas, tapi masih banyak potensi longsor dan titik-titik berbahaya dilapangan” tulis Eddy melalui pesan singkat via whatsap belum lama ini.
Eddy menjelaskan material tanah longsor yang menutupi badan jalan cukup berat karena bukan hanya tanah, tetapi juga banyak berupa batu-batuan besar dan pepohonan. Melihat kondisi dan medan jalannya yang berat tersebut, akan membutuhkan waktu tidak sedikit. Apalagi kerusakan jalan yang rusak akibat longsor cukup panjang.
