Kelompok bersenjata Mujahidin Indonesia Timur (MIT) untuk wilayah Kabupaten Poso, Jumat 13 Desember 2019 pukul 12.30 WITA menyerang anggota satgas Tinombala dan warga setelah melaksanakan sholat Jumat di desa Salubanga, Kecamatan Sausu, kabupaten Parigi Moutong. Satu anggota Brimob gugur dan satu warga disandera kelompok bersenjata dalam peristiwa itu.
Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun menyebutkan peristiwa itu terjadi sekitar pukul 12.30 Wita saat warga desa setempat bersama personil Pos Tinombala selesai melaksanakan ibadah sholat Jumat di mushola yang jaraknya hanya berkisar 50 meter dari pos Alfa 16.
